Welcome to the Weekend Report, where iGB looks at the news you may have missed across the last few days. This week, Zitro Digital names new CEO, Wynn confirms departure of CFO and Bragg extends Entain PAM deal.
Zitro Digital names Bauer as new CEO
Online games developer Zitro Digital has announced the appointment of Michael Bauer as its new CEO.
Bauer brings over a decade of senior leadership experience in online gaming. He previously worked in roles across product development, driving revenue growth and international expansion management.
As CEO, Bauer will oversee Zitro Digital’s strategy and operations, with the aim of further expanding its presence in the iGaming space.
“I’m delighted to join Zitro as their new CEO Digital,” Bauer said. “Over my years in gaming, I have followed with great interest their path and was impressed by their fast international growth.”
Wynn details CFO change
Another senior management change will see Craig Jeffrey Fullalove replace Julie Cameron-Doe as CFO of Wynn Resorts.
Cameron-Doe will retire in mid-2026 but continue as a consultant to the business and a non-executive director of Wynn Macau. She has served as CFO of the operator since April 2022.
Fullalove is currently CFO and chief administrative officer of Wynn’s Macau operations and its Hong Kong-listed entity. He has worked for the Macau part of the business since January 2020.
“Julie’s leadership has been invaluable to me and the company,” Wynn CEO Craig Billings said. “Her efforts on shareholder engagement allowed the company to win all shareholder votes during her tenure, and she well-positioned the company’s balance sheet through numerous capital market offerings.”
Pettemerides exits Scout board
In other people-related news, Jonathan Pettemerides is to step down from Scout Gaming Group’s board of directors.
Scout said Pettemerides will pursue new opportunities within the sector. He had been a member of the Scout board since January 2021.
The departure means the board will comprise three members. Scout will not necessarily need to appoint a replacement as it is permitted to have a board of between three and eight members.
“We thank Jonathan for his time on the board,” Scout Chairman Niklas Braathen said. “His deep knowledge and experience of the industry have together with the rest of the board given management of Scout an invaluable help during his time on the board. We wish him all the best in the new role.”
Portugal regulator revokes Betway licence
Portuguese gambling regulator Comissão de Jogos do Turismo de Portugal has revoked the licences of GM Gaming at the request of the operator.
GM Gaming had been running the Betway brand in Portugal via the Betway.pt local site. It offered both online casinos games and sports betting. The revocation will mean the entity is no longer authorised to operate online gambling in the country.
The regulator did not state why GM Gaming requested the revocation. GM Gaming had held the licences since January 2020.
Bragg extends PAM deal with Entain
Bragg Gaming Group has extended its Player Account Management agreement with Entain.
Under the agreement, Entain’s Dutch-facing BetCity.nl brand will continue to use Bragg’s proprietary PAM platform. This will also cover online casino content and sports betting delivery products.
The deal will last for a period of at least five months, through the end of May 2026. Another extension could be agreed after this date, the two companies said.
“We’re proud of Bragg’s role in the launch and subsequent successful growth of BetCity.nl, which has become a market-leading online sports betting and casino operator in the Netherlands,” Bragg CEO Matevž Mazij said.
