Casinos.com has announced the winners of the inaugural International Casino Awards, held as part of the newly established International Casinos Day.
The Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas emerged as the biggest winner, securing four major titles, including the prestigious Best Casino in the World award. It also took home honors for Best Casino in Las Vegas, Best Staff, and Best Poker Room.
“The Bellagio is iconic for a reason, and its recognition in four categories speaks volumes,” said Lee Gwilliam, SVP at Casinos.com. “These awards were decided by players, people who have actually been inside these places, so every win is a true mark of excellence.”
Other winners include Le Tren Bleu at Monte Carlo Casino for Best Casino Restaurant, Jamie Foxx for Best Casino Entertainer, and The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas for the most luxurious restrooms.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa was another standout with multiple honors, as it won Best Casino in Florida, Best Casino for Hitting a Jackpot, and Best Casino for Celebrity Spotting.
Voted entirely by players, the awards recognize excellence across more than 100 categories. The awards coincided with the first International Casinos Day, proclaimed by Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley and held annually on May 15 to honor casino culture and entertainment worldwide.
“International Casinos Day gave the world a chance to recognize that casinos are about more than just gaming, they’re entertainment hubs, cultural icons, and community landmarks,” Gwilliam said. “It was refreshing to see casinos getting the credit they deserve. This celebration is just the beginning.”
Looking ahead, Gwilliam expressed excitement about Tribal Casinos Month in June, citing the important role tribal casinos play in supporting tribal sovereignty and local communities in the U.S. and Canada.
