Resorts World Las Vegas has named Zoox as its official robotaxi partner, the first such deal between an autonomous ride-hailing company and a Las Vegas resort.
As part of the partnership, Zoox will receive a dedicated, branded pickup and drop-off area within Resorts World, along with exclusive onsite opportunities, including an experiential activation for guests. The partnership aims to enhance guest transportation and showcase innovative technology in Las Vegas hospitality.
Carlos Castro, President and CFO of Resorts World Las Vegas, said the collaboration reflects their commitment to improving guest experiences and positioning Las Vegas as a leader in innovation.
“At Resorts World, we seek partners that align with our vision of what the future of guest experiences can be,” Castro said. “By welcoming Zoox robotaxis into our transportation ecosystem, we’re creating new possibilities for our guests, while reinforcing Las Vegas’s position as a global innovation hub.”
Zoox has operated its autonomous robotaxi in Las Vegas since June 2023. Its vehicle seats four passengers in a private, comfortable cabin designed for socializing or entertainment during rides.
Michael White, Zoox’s Chief Product Officer, said the partnership will extend Resorts World’s premium hospitality into personalized autonomous transportation. “When visitors ride with Zoox, they’ll find the service offers an extension of the signature hospitality they’ve come to expect from Resorts World’s collection of premium brands, including Hilton, Conrad, and Crockfords,” White stated.
Zoox plans to open the service to the public in Las Vegas later this year.
