After posting a record $251.1 million in online casino revenue in October, Pennsylvania gaming operators followed with $623.1 million in total revenue in November, setting a new monthly high despite a shorter calendar.

According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, total gaming revenue for November rose 10.8% year over year and exceeded the previous monthly record of $601.8 million established in May. The November total covered revenue from retail slot machines and table games, online casino gaming, retail and online sports wagering, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals.

Online casino performance

Online casino revenue totaled $242.7 million in November, up 21% from the same month last year. The figure fell by about $8.4 million from October’s record result, which included 31 days compared with November’s 30.

Across all operators, online slots generated $185.4 million, digital table games produced $55.1 million, and online poker accounted for $2.3 million. iGaming tax payments reached $109.2 million, representing 41.9% of gaming tax collections for the month while contributing 39% of operator gaming revenue.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course led iGaming revenue with $91.3 million. The license is tied to DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, and the online Hollywood Casino platform. Valley Forge Casino Resort, operating FanDuel Casino, reported $70.9 million, followed by Rivers Casino Philadelphia with $38.2 million. Harrah’s Philadelphia, through Caesars Palace Online, posted $13.4 million.

Retail casinos and sports wagering

Retail casino results declined year over year. Slot machines generated $201.2 million, down 0.1%, while table games produced $74.7 million, a decrease of 3.6%. Parx Casino led retail slot revenue during the month, while Wind Creek Bethlehem reported the highest table game revenue.

Sports wagering handle reached a record $990.6 million in November. Total sports betting revenue came in at $98.3 million.

Fantasy sports contests generated $2.5 million in revenue, an increase of 2.8% year over year. DraftKings led the segment with $1.74 million, followed by FanDuel at $567,000 and Underdog at $213,000. Regulated truck stop video gaming terminals produced $3.53 million, up 8.9% from November 2024.

Pennsylvania collected $260.9 million in gaming tax revenue during November, supported by contributions from iGaming, retail casinos, sports betting, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals.
