2025 proved to be a landmark year for JCM Global, as the company reinforced its position in cash handling technology amid accelerating demand and rapid technological change across the industry. With record product volumes and continued innovation in solutions such as iVIZION and ICB ASAP, JCM not only met market demand but also deepened strategic partnerships with major operators.
Looking ahead, the conversation is increasingly shaped by automation, data-driven operations, and evolving payment ecosystems. As casinos balance the expansion of cashless solutions with the enduring importance of cash, JCM is positioning itself at the center of this operational transformation.
In this exclusive interview with Yogonet, Dave Kubajak, SVP – Sales, Marketing & Operations at JCM Global, reflects on the lessons of 2025, outlines the technologies set to define 2026, and explains how the company is preparing operators for upcoming challenges such as workforce shortages and the US currency redesign.
Looking back at 2025, how would you assess the year for the company? What are some of the major takeaways/highlights, achievements, or lessons learned over the past year?
This has been a tremendously successful year that reinforced our leadership in the global gaming industry. We delivered record product volumes and strengthened our position as the sole provider of premium cash handling technology for the global gaming industry.
Our key achievements included our ability to meet unprecedented demand on the iVIZION product, provide continued innovation with solutions like ICB ASAP, and deepen partnerships with several of the largest global gaming operators, which continue to form the foundation of our global success.
Which issues and trends would you say dominated the conversation this year? Any specific trends, markets, or technologies that you believe will drive change in 2026?
In 2025, technology adoption accelerated with significant investments in cashless payment solutions and robotics automation across casino operations. While cashless has been widely discussed, it’s clear that it is not a replacement for traditional payment methods but rather an accretive option that enhances player choice.
Looking ahead, we expect gaming operators to place greater emphasis on robotics automation as they continue to face rising labor costs and workforce shortages. Growth in automation will extend beyond the casino floor into areas such as security, housekeeping, food and beverage, and count room cash processing.
These advancements will not only improve efficiency but also help operators maintain service quality, making robotics a key driver of operational transformation in 2026 and beyond.
What can we expect from the company in 2026? What are the main challenges and opportunities you see in the gaming industry in the upcoming 12-month period?
In 2026, JCM will continue to lead the way with innovative solutions that redefine standards for acceptance, security, and data-driven insights across the global gaming industry.
We will also work to keep our customers prepared ahead of the upcoming US currency redesign, which will bring many challenges to casinos as they prepare their operations for the launch of the new series of notes.
