Betting brand Matchbook has entered Brazil with the launch of a locally focused sportsbook platform, its latest expansion in regulated and fast-expanding betting markets. The Brazilian-facing site, matchbook.bet.br, has gone live through a partnership with FIRST – Best in Sports, bringing together exchange-led betting expertise and Tier-1 sportsbook infrastructure.

The platform combines Matchbook’s exchange and fixed-odds offering with FIRST’s sportsbook technology, which is built to support localization, operational stability, and scalable performance.

Brazil’s emergence as a major global sports betting jurisdiction has reshaped expansion plans for international operators, with technology partnerships becoming central to market entry. The collaboration was supported locally by A2FBR, which worked on translating the joint technical and product capabilities into a market-ready operation.

The joint presence of Matchbook and FIRST on matchbook.bet.br represents a significant milestone for the Brazilian market,” said a representative from A2FBR, who supported the project locally.

Both brands are globally recognised for their technical excellence, operational integrity, and long-term commitment to regulated environments. Our role was to ensure that this collaboration translated into a seamless, high-quality experience tailored to Brazilian players,” said Adriano Rodrigues, CEO of A2FBR.

For FIRST, the Brazilian launch adds to its expanding Latin American footprint, where demand has grown for modular sportsbook systems designed to meet regulatory requirements and local market conditions. The company has positioned its technology around adaptability and real-time localization as operators move into newly regulated territories.

Working with Matchbook on their Brazilian launch demonstrates what can be achieved when strong technology and a clear product vision come together. Brazil is a highly competitive and sophisticated market, and this project reflects our focus on delivering sportsbook solutions that are built for scale, compliance, and long-term growth,” said Tom Light, CEO at FIRST-Best in Sports.
