Five decades after opening its first Las Vegas property, Station Casinos is continuing to invest in new facilities, updated rooms, and expanded entertainment offerings across its 18-property network.
The investment cycle comes ahead of the company’s 50th anniversary on July 1 and includes multiple projects scheduled from 2025 through 2026 across Southern Nevada. Station Casinos is a subsidiary of Red Rock Resorts.
Durango development phases
The most capital-intensive project is underway at Durango in southwest Las Vegas, where Station Casinos on Monday began the second phase of development. The company is investing $385 million in this phase of the expansion project, following the property’s opening in December 2023 and the addition of a high-limit slot room and a 2,000-space parking garage on December 15.
During the current construction phase, all existing amenities will remain open. Planned additions include 400 slot machines, a 36-lane bowling facility, luxury movie theaters, new restaurant concepts, food hall outlets, and entertainment venues.
Green Valley Ranch renovations
Renovation activity is also scheduled at Green Valley Ranch. In December, the property reopened 162 renovated rooms and 37 suites, along with its poker room. In 2026, 294 rooms and suites in the East Tower and the South Rotunda Lobby are slated for full renovation.
Additional projects at Green Valley Ranch include a remodeled meetings and convention facility planned for the first quarter of the year, the opening of a Nielsen’s Frozen Custard store in the food court early in the year, and renovations to the Regal movie theaters in mid-2026.
Dining additions at Red Rock Resort
Red Rock Resort is set to add several food outlets in early 2026. Planned openings include Hearthstone, a Clique Hospitality restaurant returning to the property; Randy’s Donuts, joining the food court; Good Pie, a local pizza restaurant; and With Love, Always, a smash burger concept, both also joining the food court lineup.
Sunset Station is also scheduled for a propertywide refresh, including the 2026 debut of a Stoney’s Rockin’ Country location and the conversion of Club Madrid into a casino bar.
Palace Station and tavern projects
At Palace Station, the company’s first property, Master Kim’s Korean BBQ is scheduled to open in the spring. The 6,500-square-foot restaurant will include more than 30 built-in grills and seating for more than 100 guests. The menu will offer brisket, marinated short rib, pork belly, chicken, seafood, traditional banchan, Korean sauces, and rice and noodle dishes, with all-you-can-eat and à la carte options.
Station Casinos will open its fourth Seventy Six Tavern on January 22 at the Union Village plaza, located at 1120 Vitality Drive in Henderson. The company is also transitioning The Den at Grand Canyon Drive and Tropicana Avenue into a Seventy Six Tavern in early 2026. Additional tavern locations are expected to be announced later this year.
Station Casinos traces its origins to 1976, when Frank Fertitta Jr. opened an off-Strip venue known as The Casino. The property was later renamed Bingo Palace, adding a bingo room, buffet, and one of Las Vegas’ early race and sportsbooks. On November 22, 1983, it reopened as Palace Station.
Today, the company operates 18 properties in the Las Vegas Valley, including Red Rock Resort, Green Valley Ranch, Durango, Wildfire-branded neighborhood casinos, and the Seventy Six Taverns concept launched in 2024.
