Nicole Garrett has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Bingo Association (BA), the National Bingo Game Association (NBGA), and Meeron.

She will take up the role in Spring 2026, following the planned departure of current CEO Miles Baron at the end of June. Her appointment was made jointly by the chairmen of the respective associations as part of a planned succession process.

Garrett comes from the Allwyn Group, operator of the UK National Lottery and a global entertainment portfolio, where she currently serves as Group Head of Responsible Gaming, leading international initiatives promoting safer play.

Her career also includes roles as Head of Corporate Affairs at bet365 and Head of Policy at the Betting and Gaming Council, giving her extensive experience in policy development, regulatory reform, and stakeholder engagement across the gambling sector.

“We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Nicole Garrett as our new CEO,” the chairmen of BA, NBGA, and Meeron said. “Nicole brings an exceptional breadth of experience from across the wider gaming sector, with a strong track record in policy development, regulatory engagement, and responsible gaming.”

“I am thrilled to be joining the Bingo Association (BA), the National Bingo Game Association (NBGA) and Meeron at such an important time for the bingo industry,” Garrett said. Bingo plays a unique and valued role within local communities, and I am very much looking forward to working closely with members and stakeholders to support the sector and help shape its future.”
