Las Vegas’ Sunset Station has opened a new casino bar and has begun renovations on the iconic Gaudi Bar and adjacent table games pit as part of ongoing property-wide upgrades.

The newly opened 28-seat casino bar now occupies the former Club Madrid space and serves as a modern centerpiece on the casino floor. Designed in a square island layout, the bar features Calacatta Rosso marble, gold accents, and soft underlighting that creates a warm, upscale ambiance. Plush red bar stools surround the bar, while bartop gaming machines encourage a social atmosphere.

The bar integrates with recent casino floor upgrades, including backlit columns, decorative metal ceiling elements, and a wraparound LED light box that enhances the space’s overall glow. Open 24 hours a day, the new space offers double-stacked high-definition screens for sports viewing and signature drink specials, including $1.99 margaritas and $3 beers and shots.

Meanwhile, the Gaudi Bar, located at the heart of the casino floor, closed Sunday to begin a comprehensive renovation that will also encompass the neighboring table games pit. The project aims to modernize the area while preserving the distinctive stained-glass design inspired by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí.

The redesigned Gaudi Bar will feature a sculptural round bar topped by a hand-blown crystal chandelier from Preciosa International, measuring 10 feet wide and 8 feet tall. The space will include rippled metal ceilings, backlit stained-glass skylights, jewel-tone lounge seating, communal tables, bartop gaming, and unobstructed sightlines for live entertainment and socializing.

Additional enhancements include bookmatched stonework, dimmable LED lighting, new carpeting, hanging televisions, and multiple entry points. During construction, all 23 table games will operate in a temporary location adjacent to the new casino bar.

“Our guests have been absolutely impressed with the upgrades we are making at Sunset Station, and the addition of this new casino bar adds another exciting amenity to the mix,” said Jordan Seager, Vice President and General Manager of Sunset Station. “Gaudi Bar is a treasured gem in Las Vegas, and while we upgrade the experience, we will still keep the distinct charm that has made it a favorite for all these years, and yes, that means the stained glass will remain untouched.”

The projects are part of Station Casinos’ $53 million reinvestment in its off-Strip properties. Additional enhancements at Sunset Station include a new Player Services area, updated entrances, restroom renovations, and recent openings such as the STN Sportsbook and Bar and Yard House. More projects are planned through 2026.
