HIPTHER has appointed legal consultancy Lex Legas as a strategic partner for its HIPTHER Baltics conference series, which will run across Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn in 2026.
HIPTHER also announced a change to the Riga event date, moving it to May 11, 2026, from the previously scheduled May 12. The Riga conference will continue to open Baltic Tech Week in the Latvian capital.
The HIPTHER Baltics series is set to debut in Vilnius on April 21, 2026, followed by the Riga edition and a later event in Tallinn. The three one-day conferences are designed to bring together regulators, legal experts, fintech firms and gaming industry stakeholders for jurisdiction-specific discussions across the Baltic region.
Lex Legas is a boutique legal consultancy focused on iGaming, fintech, payments, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CTF), and cross-border regulatory frameworks, with particular emphasis on Baltic, European Union and higher-risk jurisdictions. The firm works with operators, payment providers and technology suppliers active in regulated and semi-regulated markets.
“At Lex Legas, we work daily at the intersection of regulation, technology, and high-risk business models, exactly where today’s iGaming, fintech, and payments industries are being shaped,” the firm said.
“HIPTHER Baltics stands out as a rare platform that goes beyond surface-level discussions and creates space for real, jurisdiction-specific conversations around compliance, licensing, player protection, and operational risk,” it added.
“Partnering with HIPTHER for the Baltics series feels like a natural extension of our mission: translating complex regulatory frameworks into practical, business-ready solutions. We’re excited to contribute our research-driven perspective and hands-on experience to the dialogue in Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn, and to help shape meaningful cross-border discussions across the region in 2026.”
According to HIPTHER the partnership reflects its aim to build a regionally focused conference series rather than a single standalone event.
“HIPTHER Baltics is built as a focused conference series for the region — not just a one-off event,” said Zoltan “Hawkie” Tundik, co-founder and head of business at HIPTHER.
“From Vilnius to Riga and Tallinn, our goal is to create a high-level platform where regulators, legal experts, fintech leaders, and gaming stakeholders can connect around the real topics shaping the market: compliance, licensing, payments, player protection, and cross-border operations,” he said.
“That’s why partnering with Lex Legas feels like a perfect match. Their research-driven approach and hands-on expertise in iGaming, fintech, and regulatory frameworks across the Baltics and beyond brings exactly the depth and clarity we want to deliver through the entire series. We’re proud to welcome them as a Strategic Partner and look forward to building meaningful, practical conversations together in 2026.”
The Baltics programme reflects growing regulatory and commercial complexity in the region’s gaming and fintech markets, increasing demand for locally grounded yet cross-border perspectives on compliance and operational risk.
