SBC has partnered with AFFiGAMING, Brazil’s first dedicated affiliates association, to support stronger representation, clearer structures and the development of best practices for affiliates in the country’s newly regulated betting market.
The partnership was formalised ahead of SBC Summit Rio, which will be held at Riocentro from March 3 to 5, 2026. Organisers expect the event to attract more than 15,000 delegates, including over 2,500 affiliates, alongside a strong turnout from licensed operators.
AFFiGAMING, founded in 2025, was established to represent the interests of iGaming affiliates in Brazil, with a focus on improving standards, transparency and dialogue between affiliates and licensed operators. The association provides legal, accounting and strategic guidance aimed at helping affiliates operate compliantly and sustainably within the regulated market.
“Partnering with SBC expands the reach, legitimacy and strategic vision of AFFiGAMING, positioning the association as an organisation that does not operate in isolation, but as part of the global iGaming movement,” said Willian Miguel Lopes, founder and chief executive of AFFiGAMING. “Through this collaboration, we are raising the standard of practice for our affiliated members while connecting Brazilian affiliates directly to international markets, insights and decision-makers.”
According to SBC the partnership reinforces its commitment to affiliates as a core pillar of Brazil’s regulated betting ecosystem. Affiliate participation at SBC Summit Rio rose 224% year on year in 2025, underlining the sector’s rapid expansion and growing importance within the market.
As part of the initiative, the summit will again host an Affiliate Leaders Summit and a dedicated conference stage focused on operating within Brazil’s regulated affiliate environment. Sessions will address compliance requirements, transparency in affiliate-operator relationships and the evolution of acquisition and content strategies, with an emphasis on long-term sustainability.
“Partnering with AFFiGAMING helps bring greater structure and representation to a rapidly growing part of the ecosystem,” said Lucía Mouriño, vice president of relationships for Latin America at SBC. “As Brazil’s first dedicated affiliates association, AFFiGAMING will ensure affiliate perspectives are clearly represented at SBC Summit Rio, while promoting compliant, responsible practices that support long-term market stability.”
Since launching in 2024, SBC Summit Rio has established itself as a key meeting point for Brazil’s betting and gaming industry. Now in its third edition, the event is set to welcome more than 15,000 attendees, alongside more than 400 exhibitors and sponsors, supported by a comprehensive conference programme covering all segments of the sector.
