In this article, Yaroslav Klymenko, Chief Product Officer at RedCore, shares his perspective on why automation, personalization, and regulatory-ready architecture are becoming the defining competitive advantages for iGaming platforms in a maturing global market.
ICE Barcelona 2026 confirmed what we have been noticing for several years now: the market is finally beginning to take automation seriously. During conversations with operators and partners at the exhibition, we kept hearing the same request for systemic changes rather than isolated improvements. This is nothing new for us at RedCore: we build our business on this very principle.
We are living in a period of qualitative transformation for the industry. Both gaming platforms and B2B providers now need not superficial adjustments, but deep, systemic transformations. According to our observations, in a saturated market, 90% of platforms look and feel the same. This is where personalization and automation become more than just optimization tools, but strategic advantages.
From “engine” to technology stack
Many B2B providers still offer “engines” rather than solutions. However, we feel that the market demands a different approach: modularity and API-first architecture, where each component functions as an independent automated unit.
At RedCore, we are developing a technology stack of solutions — marketing, communications, anti-fraud, fintech — instead of a single unified product. Some of our solutions are already operating in the different countries of CIS, Europe, Latin America, and Asia, and are adapted to the specific requirements and regulations of each region.
White Label is no longer synonymous with template. Deep customization of UX/UI for the operator’s brand, flexible lobbies, personalized game showcases – all this is only possible with the right architecture, where automation is inherent rather than overshadowed by an increase in operational staff.
Old methods no longer work
Customer demands are constantly growing. Slots no longer speak for themselves, and bonus spam lowers LTV rather than increasing it. Mass mailings and averaged segments are outdated.
The solution comes in ML models that generate personalized offers based on player behavior, rather than simply “+100% to your deposit.” AI game recommendations, new-generation smart communication, and real-time anti-fraud based on behavioral patterns — all of this requires automation at the architectural level, not just individual functions.
Our experience in iGaming has allowed us to perfect these technologies using real data and high loads, and now we apply them outside the gaming industry as well.
Regulatory readiness as a foundation
Regulatory requirements are constantly tightening, and formal limits no longer work. The market is shifting from basic compliance to a proactive approach, where compliance is not just a checkpoint, but part of the product strategy.
The key approach is to build regulatory compliance into the product architecture upfront, rather than adapting the system to each new jurisdiction post-facto. This provides flexibility when entering different markets and speed of adaptation to new requirements. Personalized limits and AI detection of problematic behavior are no longer a matter of ethics, but a licensing requirement and a competitive B2B advantage.
RedCore’s expertise has grown in highly regulated markets and is embedded in every product we offer.
High-quality transformation
Smart growth is a course toward high-quality transformation, not just cosmetic improvements. The winner will be the one who automates the entire technology stack, where each element enhances the effectiveness of the others, rather than automating individual processes. This is how we build RedCore, and this is what we offer the market.
We are backed by a team of more than 4,500 specialists working with brands and technologies that have been tested in one of the most demanding markets in the digital world.
ICE Barcelona 2026 showed that the industry is following the trend that we laid down as the foundation of RedCore from the very beginning. It’s great to see the market moving with us in the same direction.
