BetMGM announced online casino players won a total of $122.1 million in progressive jackpots during 2025, with payouts spread across regulated North American markets. The operator further reported that Michigan recorded the highest amount of jackpot winnings during the year.
As announced by BetMGM, players in Michigan won $42.6 million in progressive jackpots in 2025. Pennsylvania followed with $29.7 million, New Jersey with $23.5 million, Ontario with $29.5 million CAD, and West Virginia with $5 million.
Several large individual jackpots were recorded toward the end of the year and into early 2026. In late December, a Michigan player won $897,928 on an $8 spin on Bison Fury. A few days into January 2026, another Michigan player won $612,764 on a $2 spin on MegaJackpots Cash Eruption.

The largest progressive jackpot reported by BetMGM during the year occurred in Ontario, where a player won $1.6 million CAD on MGM Grand Millions in April. The company said this was the largest progressive jackpot it has awarded in the province. Six days later, the same player won an additional $417,377 on the same game.
Other high-value jackpots were recorded across Michigan, New Jersey, and Ontario. These included a $997,341 win on Independence Pays in New Jersey, a $773,714 payout on MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune on Air in Michigan, and multiple six-figure wins on MGM Grand Millions in Michigan and New Jersey. Michigan players also recorded significant payouts on MegaJackpots Jungle Tower and MegaJackpots Fortune Coin.
In February, BetMGM reported two six-figure progressive jackpots won on consecutive days in Michigan. On February 19, a player won $577,164 on a $5 spin on MGM Grand Millions. On February 20, another player won $654,175 on a $60 spin on MegaJackpots Fortune Coin.
