Online gaming supplier Playson has reintroduced its popular Coin Strike: Hold and Win game in an XXL format, a move the company says will extend an established title through additional reel space and Strike Coin frequency.
Coin Strike XXL: Hold and Win features an expanded 3×5 reelset with 15 paylines and retains the Hold and Win framework used in the original release. The game combines nostalgic fruit symbols and coin imagery presented against a blue-themed background.
“Coin Strike: Hold and Win is one of our most recognised and best-loved titles, so bringing it back in an XXL format was about giving players more of what they already enjoy, while enhancing the experience,” said Anton Ivannikov, CPO at Playson.
Strike Coins remain central to gameplay. When a Strike Coin lands together with any Bonus Coin, the Collect Feature is triggered. Once active, the feature aggregates the values of all Bonus symbols on the reels and adds them to the final win for that spin.
The Collect Feature includes four in-game jackpots with values of up to 1,000x. This mechanic can occur during both the Main Game and the Bonus Game.
The Bonus Game allows up to five Strike Coins to land at the same time. During this phase, the reels display only Bonus Coins and Strike Coins. Players receive three initial re-spins, which reset each time a new symbol appears, allowing the round to continue until no further symbols land.
During the Main Game, the Pile of Gold Feature may trigger randomly when a Bonus symbol lands. When activated, it adds enough Bonus and Strike Coins to initiate the Bonus Game immediately.
The title also includes Buy Bonus and Super Bonus options, giving players direct access to bonus gameplay with a minimum of three Strike Coins.

Coin Strike XXL: Hold and Win offers a maximum win of 5,405x. The game maintains the Hold and Win structure while introducing a revised reel layout and additional Strike Coin landing opportunities.
