Casino Guru has issued a final call for nominations for its fourth annual Casino Guru Awards 2026, with less than two weeks remaining before nominations close on February 15, 2026.
The awards aim to recognise individuals and organisations that are shaping a more responsible and transparent future for online gambling, focusing on impact rather than commercial scale. The nominations are intended to highlight contributions that promote fairness, responsible gambling, innovation and healthier industry standards.
Now in their fourth year, the Casino Guru Awards have become an established fixture in the iGaming calendar by prioritising measurable outcomes such as fair player treatment, transparent terms and ethical leadership.
The 2026 edition will conclude with an invite-only live ceremony on May 25, 2026, at The Xara Lodge in Malta. The event is being held in partnership with NEXT.io during NEXT Valletta, scheduled for May 27–28, and will bring together shortlisted nominees, judges, sponsors, media partners and industry executives.
This year’s awards introduce four new categories, reflecting what Casino Guru described as shifting industry priorities. These include Woman Leader of the Year, Rising Star in Responsible Gambling, Young Changemaker Award and Industry Culture Shaper. The new categories are designed to spotlight leadership, responsibility and workplace culture alongside business performance.
Nominations also remain open across established categories centred on fairness and transparency, including The Fairest Bonus Policy, The Most Transparent Casino, The Best Implementation of Responsible Gambling Tools and iGaming Changemaker of the Year, among others.
Key dates for the 2026 programme include the announcement of shortlisted nominees and the start of public voting on March 1, 2026. Judges’ evaluations will take place between April 30 and May 7, with public voting closing on May 7.
