IGT has announced that Island View Casino Resort has launched its PlaySports retail sports betting technology and services, expanding the supplier’s presence in Mississippi.
The rollout allows patrons at both Island View and Beach View Casino Resorts in Gulfport, Mississippi, to place sports wagers through the IGT PlaySports platform and at self-service betting kiosks. IGT’s Trading Advisory Services team will also support the properties by helping streamline sportsbook operations, tailor promotional offers, and localize betting menus for the market.
The company said that the rollout marks another step in IGT PlaySports’ growth across Mississippi, where the supplier already provides sports betting technology to several casino operators statewide.
