iGaming provider Playson has entered Colombia’s regulated online gaming market after receiving full certification from the national regulator, Coljuegos, and commencing operations with Rush Street Interactive.
The supplier’s approval allows it to deploy its certified platform and portfolio in one of Latin America’s most established regulatory environments. Colombia is widely regarded as one of the region’s most demanding jurisdictions, requiring gaming suppliers to comply with strict technical, security, and reporting standards.
According to the company, the successful certification confirms the strength of its cloud-based infrastructure, which is structured to deliver low latency, operational stability, and consistent performance for players. The development adds Colombia to a growing roster of regulated markets where Playson has introduced its technology.
The launch has been executed in partnership with Rush Street Interactive, described as a Tier-1 operator with a notable presence across the Americas. By going live with the operator, Playson is extending its footprint in Latin America through collaboration with established market participants.
Colombian players now have access to a selection of the supplier’s titles, which have previously been deployed in regulated markets internationally.
Cristhian Zito, Head of LATAM at Playson, said: “Entering the Colombian market is an important milestone for Playson, and doing so alongside Tier-1 operator of the region makes it even more meaningful.
“Colombia is a highly respected, regulated market, and completing the certification process reflects months of focused work to meet its stringent requirements. Partnering with the RSI allows us to introduce our content with confidence and sets a strong foundation for long-term growth in the region.”
