Nominations for the 2026 iGB Affiliate Awards are now open and will close March 27, setting in motion a selection process that will culminate on July 2 during the iGB L!VE closing event.

The shortlist of finalists will be announced on May 5. Voting for Best Affiliate Manager will open on the same day. Voting for both Best Affiliate Manager and Game of the Year will close May 29.

Now in its 19th edition, the awards ceremony will take place during the iGB L!VE closing party on Thursday, July 2. Organizers have planned a James Bond-themed event featuring 22 categories. The program is open to all companies and individuals working in the iGaming affiliate industry.

“The iGB Affiliate Awards is the premier recognition platform for businesses and people working in the igaming affiliate industry,” said Stephen Carter, Head of Affiliate Content and internal judging lead at WorldGaming.

Hybrid voting and category revisions

For 2026, the Best Affiliate Manager category will follow a hybrid format. Judges will identify top-marked candidates in round one. The industry will then vote on those shortlisted entrants.

The Best Employer category has been revised to include all businesses active in the iGaming affiliate sector, rather than limiting eligibility to affiliates.

New categories for 2026

Two new categories have been introduced this year. Best New Programme is open to iGaming affiliate programs launched on or after January 1, 2024. The category recognizes startups that have established a presence within the sector. In previous editions, newer programs competed in the Best Affiliate Programme category alongside longer-established entrants.

A second addition, SEO Superstar, responds to industry requests for additional individual awards. The category recognizes the SEO who has most successfully enhanced the visibility of an affiliate website or websites in the iGaming sector during the 2025 assessment period. It is open to SEO professionals working for affiliates on a freelance, consultancy, or agency basis, as well as in-house specialists.

“Businesses that have successfully participated in the Awards tell us that the process has helped to motivate teams, enhance business relationships, and unlock a myriad of marketing and profile-building opportunities,” said Carter. “Winning nominations helps organisations stand out from their competitors, achieve industry recognition, improve relationships, and build trust.”

“Working in partnership with the industry and based on the feedback received, we have added two new categories and enhanced a further two in line with the dynamics of the sector,” he added.
