Formula 1 has named Betway as its first-ever Official Betting Operator, starting with the 2026 season under a multi-year deal. The partnership covers Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Canada, and Mexico, and was announced by the sport on Thursday ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
The deal will leverage ALT Sports Data’s role as Official Betting Data Supplier, providing real-time predictive analytics sourced from Formula 1’s extensive data ecosystem. The partnership will also deliver proprietary data and priced odds solutions, allowing fans to engage with official metrics that are accurate, consistent, and data-driven.
Through Betway, eligible audiences over the age of 18 will be able to place in-play bets on driver and team strategies, including safety car deployments, pit stop windows, and on-track battles. The Malta-headquartered online betting brand is part of Super Group, a holding company that also includes online casino Spin.
The 24-race season starts in Melbourne this weekend, with the starting grid expanded to 11 teams following the arrival of Cadillac and with major changes to the engine and chassis regulations.
