Affiliate management platform ReferOn has launched Evolution Cohort, a new analytics framework designed to help operators and affiliate teams track player value, retention, and monetization over time.

The tool, now available within ReferOn’s Dynamic Reports module, analyzes player cohorts as evolving performance curves rather than static metrics. The company said it represents the first milestone in a broader roadmap focused on deeper cohort intelligence.

Traditional reporting often shows performance within a single timeframe, but Evolution Cohort is designed to track how player value develops across the customer lifecycle, helping operators identify trends such as early performance peaks, sustained long-term value, or declining engagement.

With the new framework, users can track cohort performance based on registration date or first-time deposit (FTD) date and analyze value progression across configurable time intervals, including daily, weekly, and monthly periods. The system also allows teams to switch between table-based heatmaps and chart views to visualize performance trends.

The platform supports a wide range of operational metrics, including deposits, net cash, total reward, FTD count, active customers, depositing customers, CPA count, and average deposit values. Advanced filtering options enable segmentation by company, brand, affiliate, and specific CPA periods.

According to ReferOn, the framework is intended to simplify data analysis by replacing complex spreadsheets and manual exports with visual tools such as heatmaps and lifecycle charts, allowing teams to quickly identify performance changes and trends.

Vlad Bondarenko, head of product at ReferOn, said: “The era of ‘detective work’ in affiliate marketing is over. Most platforms just dump data on you and leave you to figure it out in a chaotic and messy spreadsheet. Evolution Cohort changes the game because it actually interprets the momentum of your business.

The ReferOn team didn’t build this to help you report on the past – it’s so we can help you own the future. Affiliate managers who aren’t seeing how value is evolving in real-time are just guessing. And guessing can be costly.”

Evolution Cohort is the first of two planned cohort analysis modes within its platform. While the current version focuses on time-based cohort evolution, future releases will introduce behavioral and performance-based cohort analysis features.

Evolution Cohort is available now to ReferOn clients.
