Season 4 of the Bet It Drives podcast, powered by GR8 Tech, concluded with a discussion on esports betting growth, featuring Marek Suchar, Co-Founder & Managing Director (Partnerships) at Oddin.gg.

In the fourth episode, recorded in Barcelona during ICE Barcelona, Suchar joined host Yevhen Krazhan to discuss the development of esports betting and the challenges facing the sector.

Suchar described how Oddin.gg monitors betting activity to identify suspicious patterns in real time. The conversation also explored the rules governing whether staff inside odds or trading providers are permitted to place bets.

The episode examined broader developments in esports wagering, including which jurisdictions could emerge as the largest regulated markets and where industry growth may originate.

Suchar estimated that the global esports betting handle is close to $100 billion.

During the episode, Suchar also participated in the show’s Confess or Call segment, where he spun a wheel and carried out a prank acquisition call referencing potential purchases of esports organisations.

“This episode is for operators who want esports done properly,” said Krazhan, Chief Strategy Officer at GR8 Tech and host of Bet It Drives. “Marek is blunt about integrity, what regulators misunderstand, and which companies are just talking.”

Season 4 of Bet It Drives opened with a discussion between Cedomir Tomic of Alea and Oleksandr Feshchenko of GR8 Tech. Subsequent episodes featured Akhil Sarin discussing marketing at Stake and Max Krupyshev on crypto risk and trust in the industry.

The final episode focused on the infrastructure and technology supporting esports betting and how it could accelerate the sector’s expansion.
