A new edition of SAGSE South America begins today, Wednesday, bringing together the region’s leading gaming and betting industry players at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center through tomorrow, March 19, in a closed and exclusive format.

According to the organizers, the 34th edition of the traditional regional event has generated strong expectations and promises to be memorable, with a focus on business, networking, and strategic deals, alongside strong participation from executives, operators, suppliers, and regulators from across Latin America.

SAGSE is, has been, and will continue to be a meeting point where the industry gathers for face-to-face networking with key regional players, to stay updated and to close business opportunities in an environment designed to ensure a top-tier experience,” said Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie, the company organizing the event.

SAGSE Summit

This Wednesday, March 18, a new cycle of SAGSE Summit conferences will take place in rooms B and C of the Atlántico Hall at the Hilton, under the theme: “The space where the industry comes together to talk about what really matters.”

Throughout the morning, industry leaders will take the stage to analyze the current LatAm landscape across seven sessions. Topics include regulation, compliance, esports, the fight against illegal gambling, AI, and payment gateways.

There will be 14 talks in an express format, similar to TEDx-style presentations, designed for executives, regulators, and decision-makers who value concise content, a fast pace, and real impact, SAGSE authorities explained.

Exhibition

The exhibition floor will open this Wednesday at 3:00 PM, with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by organizers and institutional authorities.

The space will be fully occupied by top-tier national and international brands showcasing their latest developments, while attendees will be able to explore industry trends and establish connections throughout the venue.

SAGSE officials expect a mix of networking and product exhibition, bringing together hundreds of executives and business leaders.

SAGSE Awards

With more than 2,500 votes cast, the SAGSE Awards recognize companies, institutions, and individuals currently raising the bar in Latin America’s gaming industry.

The initiative is described as “from the industry for the industry,” and this year’s edition highlights key players across strategic areas such as Regulation, Responsible Gaming, Technology, Compliance, Product, Operations, Marketing, Payments, and Industry Communication, consolidating the awards “as a real benchmark of peer recognition,” according to organizers.

Some of these awards will be presented in person during SAGSE South America, “adding visibility to a recognition that seeks to highlight excellence, strengthen relationships, and showcase those shaping the market’s direction.”

SAGSE Magazine

According to its organizers, SAGSE South America 2026 aims to be more than just an exhibition: it also seeks to serve as a communication channel between operators and leading international suppliers.

In this context, the new edition of SAGSE Magazine is positioned as an editorial piece accompanying the 34th edition of the event.

The magazine reaches 45,000 email accounts, 12,000 direct LinkedIn contacts, and is replicated across 45 international media outlets, ensuring global coverage of SAGSE South America.

We want it to be a must-read document, and no one should miss the opportunity to be there,” said Alan Burak.

SAGSE Week

Organizers also highlighted that, alongside the event at the Hilton, the week is enhanced by Buenos Aires’ broader agenda, with the city acting as a catalyst for meetings and informal networking.

Many manufacturers and suppliers attending SAGSE will host private parties and networking events to foster commercial partnerships and showcase new offerings.

Additionally, on Thursday, March 19, at the close of the expo, the Gran Gala del Juego will take place, a classic VIP social component of the SAGSE calendar, historically linked to the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo. Top-level authorities and executives are expected to attend, and the event will include horse races sponsored by leading exhibiting companies.

SAGSE once again plays a role that goes beyond that of a trade show or conference. With 34 years behind it, the event not only connects supply and demand; it also serves as a space for regional convergence, where public vision, operational experience, innovation, and institutional agendas intersect,” Alan Burak emphasized in a recent interview with Yogonet.

“In an industry that needs less fragmentation and more shared direction, Buenos Aires aims to reaffirm itself as a hub for shaping the South American future with a more mature approach: less noise, more coordination; fewer isolated narratives, more market architecture. The equation is simple: when the public and private sectors pull in the same direction, the market gains stability
