DR Gaming Technology (DRGT) has appointed industry veteran Stephane Henault to the newly created role of Director of Technical Services, as the company continues to expand its international operations and technical capabilities.
Henault’s appointment comes as the privately owned Belgian-based firm records continued growth, following what it described as its strongest performance in 2025. The company has outlined further expansion plans for 2026 across Africa and Latin America, alongside the expected opening of its sister company Infiniti’s second casino in France.
“This is an important appointment for DRGT as we continue to scale our operations globally,” said company CEO Marco Herrera. “Stephane brings a wealth of technical and operational experience, as well as a deep understanding of the evolving needs of casino operators. His expertise will be instrumental in further strengthening and streamlining the services we provide to our partners.”
Herrera assumed the position of CEO in September 2024, while co-founder Jurgen De Munck transitioned into a more strategic role as Executive Chairman, with oversight of the group’s Infiniti Casino operations. The company also introduced a new Director of Product Management position in August last year, appointing Grahame Falvey.
Henault began his career in 1999 after studying electronics at university, joining Nice-based start-up Micro Clever – Consulting (MCC). During his time there, he contributed to the development and expansion of the Open Casino Manager system, which achieved a leading position in France and was deployed across 75 European casinos operating approximately 8,000 slot machines. MCC was later acquired by Bally Gaming and Systems in April 2003, after which Henault was appointed Services Director.
“As our company grows, so too does the complexity of the environments in which we operate,” said Executive Chairman Jurgen De Munck. “Ensuring we deliver efficient, consistent, and high-quality technical services across all markets is critical. Stephane’s experience makes him ideally suited to lead this effort and support the next phase of our development.”
“I see this opportunity as the perfect way for me to reconnect with operator partners directly, leveraging the experience gained over the last three decades working for both a start-up and as of late, a massive multi-national, and to contribute in a very practical way to their day-to-day success,” said Henault.
“DRGT’s current growth trajectory presents an exciting challenge, particularly in ensuring that as the business expands, its technical service delivery remains efficient, scalable, and aligned with operator requirements. Being part of that journey and helping to build processes and structures that support it is hugely motivating. Right now, I wake up every morning with a spring in my step – that’s special”.
Henault, who was born in Menton in southern France, will now be responsible for leading DRGT’s technical service delivery across its expanding global footprint. The company currently operates in more than 70 countries and supports over 80,000 gaming devices through its casino management, player tracking, loyalty, and cashless systems.
“I played a lot of football as a youngster and as a young man — that taught me a great deal about working together towards a shared goal,” he added. “As I got older, I gravitated towards more individual sports, where, when things don’t go your way, there really is no one to blame but yourself. You need to overcome the challenge and own the mistake, a mindset that translates well into the working environment.”
“In our industry, delivering value goes beyond technology alone,” Herrera concluded. “It’s about how effectively that technology is implemented, supported, and optimised in real-world environments. Stephane’s appointment will help ensure we continue to provide casino operators with the structured, responsive, and high-quality technical services they need to succeed.”
