Web3 infrastructure company Playnance has officially launched trading for its native token, GCOIN, on MEXC.
The GCOIN/USDT pair went live on March 18 at 13:00 UTC following the project’s Token Generation Event.
The listing opens GCOIN to the broader market, expanding access to Playnance’s Web3 ecosystem. The launch follows strong early engagement, including high participation in MEXC’s Kickstarter campaign, where users competed for a share of a 50,000 USDT airdrop.
The company said that demand for GCOIN surged ahead of the Token Generation Event, with more than 1 billion tokens staked within hours of the staking program’s release.
GCOIN facilitates transactions, rewards, and user participation across Playnance’s growing Web3 entertainment network. The company said the token is designed to bridge Web2 and Web3 by delivering simplified, Web2-like on-chain experiences aimed at lowering barriers to entry for mainstream users.
Playnance said that its ecosystem already includes over 300,000 GCOIN holders, signaling strong early adoption. The platform currently supports more than 10,000 on-chain games and processes over 2 million daily on-chain transactions.
The exchange debut is expected to enhance accessibility by allowing users worldwide to trade GCOIN in a liquid market environment. Deposits are already open on MEXC, while withdrawals are scheduled to begin on March 19.
