SBC Summit Americas will return to Fort Lauderdale in June 2026, organizers confirmed following a highly successful 2025 edition that brought together thousands of betting and gaming professionals from across the Americas.
Held from May 13–15 at the Broward County Convention Center, the 2025 summit marked the first full-scale edition of the unified event, which merged the previously separate SBC Summit North America and SBC Summit Latinoamérica. The new format was designed to foster cross-regional collaboration across North, Central, and South America.
“It’s a much better venue, and it’s gotten a lot bigger. It’s a natural progression to combine these two,” said Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Officer – Gaming at Delaware North. “We have so much to learn from each other. The location is also great because we are surrounded by hotels, all of the events are within walking or short Uber distance.”

The summit featured more than 250 speakers and drew participation from top-tier executives, regulators, suppliers, and operators. The 22,000-square-meter exhibition floor housed hundreds of exhibitors, including designated spaces for the Affiliate Leaders Summit and Payment Expert Summit.
Tony Amormino, CEO of Apache Nugget Corporation, highlighted the value of the networking opportunities: “There are a lot of vendors that I wouldn’t normally be able to see. Pretty much all my afternoon was spent with people that there would have been no shot of me talking to previously.”
The agenda spanned five themed conference rooms covering leadership, market trends, payments, affiliation, compliance, and player protection. Notable speakers included Lori Kalani (DraftKings), Julie Brown (Florida Gaming Control Commission), Gonzalo Perez (Apuesta Total), Ari Borod (Fanatics Betting and Gaming), and Casey Hurbis (BetMGM).
Cristian Gomez, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Betsson, underscored the summit’s cross-border value: “Usually, you see the same people at all the events, but this one brings together both markets, so I got to meet new people and have new conversations.”
Complementing the conference was a suite of high-profile events, including the SBC Leaders Summit at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel, the SBC Hall of Fame ceremony, and the SBC First Pitch Americas startup competition, which was won by Wager Games. Social highlights included the SBC Awards Americas and the INFINITY Florida closing party, headlined by DJ Steve Aoki.
Iliana Pineda, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Colombian operator Wplay, praised the event’s expanded scope: “The size is really impressive for just one region like the Americas, bringing all these markets together was truly a winning strategy.”
The summit also introduced regional touches like a Food Festival and addressed key regulatory topics such as responsible gambling and certification. Rodrigo Cigliutti of CIBELAE noted the value of panels on advertising and regulation, saying: “What we discussed was incredibly enriching.”
Participants lauded the summit’s organization and energy, with many calling it a “must-attend” event for staying ahead in the industry. One attendee described it as their “new favorite event,” while another said it “struck the right balance between content and community.”
SBC CEO & Founder Rasmus Sojmark said: “‘Connecting Worlds’ through gaming was the idea behind SBC Summit Americas — a vision that’s also reflected in the event’s tagline.
“Seeing everyone come together in Fort Lauderdale for this edition is not only a proud moment for our team, but also a clear signal that the industry is ready for deeper, cross-regional collaboration.”
SBC Summit Americas 2026 is scheduled for June 8–10 at the Broward County Convention Center. Exhibitors and sponsors are invited to secure their space early.
