Green Valley Ranch Resort has reopened its Poker Room, officially bringing poker back to the resort and the Henderson community.

The room is located in its original spot on the casino floor and features 15 new tables, upgraded audio and visual systems, and 24/7 operations. The reopening aligns with the resort’s 24th anniversary. Green Valley Ranch first opened on Dec. 18, 2001.

The renovated Poker Room includes new leather rail tables, charging-enabled chairs, and stone-and-steel side tables.

Property leadership, including Vice President and General Manager Ken Janssen and Director of Table Games Briant Stanton, marked the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Hundreds of guests gathered outside the room to be among the first to take a seat in the newly renovated space.

The Poker Room launched a 24/7 Mystery High Hand Promotion, running through Thursday, Jan. 1, to celebrate the opening. Players can win between $50 and $500 every 30 minutes, with all high-hand winners entered into a $5,000 drawing scheduled for Jan. 1 at noon.

The room offers a wide range of poker games, including 4/8 and 8/16 Limit Hold’em; 1/2, 2/3, and 3/5 No Limit Hold’em; Time Rake Hold’em games; Pot Limit Omaha; and 4/8, 6/12, and 8/16 Omaha Hi/Lo. Additional game offerings are expected to be introduced over time.

The Poker Room reopening is part of Green Valley Ranch’s ongoing $200 million property-wide renovation. The investment also includes refreshed guest rooms and suites, new high-limit gaming areas, updated dining venues, and other enhancements throughout the resort.
