As G2E marked its 25th anniversary in 2025, the event stood not only as a celebration of a quarter century of progress, but also as a clear signal of where the global gaming industry is headed next. From record engagement on the show floor to new activations designed to spotlight the people and ideas driving the sector forward, this milestone edition underscored G2E’s role as the industry’s central meeting point.
In this exclusive interview with Yogonet, Korbi Carrison, Event Vice President of G2E at RX USA, reflects on the moments, innovations, and conversations that defined the anniversary year, while also sharing how the team is already shaping the vision for G2E 2026 — building on momentum, embracing emerging trends, and continuing to evolve alongside a rapidly changing gaming landscape.
G2E’s 25th anniversary edition was billed as both a celebration and a forward-looking milestone. Now that 2025 is coming to an end, what stood out to you most about this year’s event, whether in attendance, energy on the show floor, or the industry conversations that defined the week?
The 25th anniversary of G2E was a meaningful milestone for the entire gaming community. It offered a moment to reflect on how far the industry has come over the past quarter century – its growth, resilience, and innovation – while reaffirming G2E’s role as the central gathering place.
This year’s recognition included a Key to the Strip ceremony with an official G2E Day proclamation, creating a special moment for the exhibitors, speakers, and attendees, who make G2E what it is.
However, my favorite moment was undoubtedly the inaugural G2E Dealer Championship. Showcasing some of the best dealers from across the country, the competition highlighted the dedication, skill, and showmanship that define our industry. Seeing the passion each competitor brought to the table was truly inspiring—and it renewed my enthusiasm for the people who make gaming what it is.

Several new features debuted this year, from the aforementioned inaugural Dealer Championship to the expanded iGaming Zone and the refreshed Media Zone. How were these received by exhibitors and attendees, and which of these additions do you see becoming long-term staples of the show?
G2E 2025 introduced several new features, and we were thrilled to see strong engagement across the board. The expanded iGaming Zone offered a fun and interactive way to explore the latest updates in the space, as well as a reenvisioned show floor area cleverly coined as “The Strip,” which included new opportunities for attendees to network.
The inaugural G2E Dealer Championship was a standout success, bringing together 34 of the best dealers from casinos nationwide. Elleonor Leonardo Hoffman from Graton Resort in California took home the top title, and the energy around the competition affirmed that this is an activation with real staying power.
Looking ahead to next year’s G2E, we’re excited to continue innovating alongside the industry. Successful additions like the G2E Dealer Championship are poised to become long-term staples, and we’ll keep exploring new ways to elevate the experience for exhibitors, attendees, and the broader gaming community.

G2E has always aimed to stay ahead of industry shifts, from digital innovation to responsible gaming and new global markets. Based on what you observed in 2025, what trends or emerging themes do you expect will shape the agenda and programming focus heading into G2E 2026?
We’re building on the successes of this year’s show and continuing to host conversations on emerging and highly impactful industry issues. We’re excited to continue collaborating with exhibitors and partners throughout the year as we plan the next version of G2E.
