Latin America’s betting and casino sector will be the focus of a dedicated track at SBC Summit Americas on 11 June 2026, as industry participants examine how operators can navigate one of the world’s fastest-growing yet most complex gaming markets.

Stage Five of the event will host the Latin America Sports Betting & Casino track, bringing together operators, suppliers, regulators and technology providers to discuss market strategy, product development and technology deployment across the region. The sessions will focus on operating in a landscape shaped by strong mobile adoption, rising player demand and differing regulatory frameworks across countries.

Delegates will examine how artificial intelligence is influencing the user experience, what drives game performance in mobile-first markets and how regulation is developing across the continent. The track will also explore how lottery operators are adapting their offerings to create more modern, player-focused experiences.

As more countries across Latin America embrace a regulated gaming market, success depends on understanding the demands of local players, creating product catalogues that are designed for mobile, and applying technology in a way that enhances trust, safety, and long-term engagement,” said Rasmus Sojmark, Chief Executive and Founder of SBC.

This track examines how operators and suppliers can innovate to create great player experiences and build businesses that work for the diverse markets across Latin America,” he added.

The programme opens with the panel The LatAm Betting Boom: Technology and the User Experience, which will examine how technology is reshaping player engagement across the region. Speakers will discuss how operators are using artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyse bettor behaviour, identify expansion opportunities and develop products suited to mobile-led audiences.

Another session, The Future of Sports Betting in Latin America, will explore the region’s recent growth, focusing on the role of regulation, mobile technology and investment in creating new commercial opportunities. Panellists will assess where growth potential is strongest and how operators can position themselves to meet rising demand.

Mobile-First Design: Games Designed for Being on the Go will examine why mobile optimisation is critical to performance in Latin America and how suppliers are refining gameplay for players who engage primarily through handheld devices.

The track will also include Cross-Platform and Cross-Channel Innovation: The Future of National Lotteries in South America, which will analyse how lottery operators are modernising their platforms to support mobile, online and retail participation, including the addition of instant games alongside traditional draw products.

Speakers confirmed for the track include Marcos Bonetti (Co-Founder & CMO, Appuesta), Ximena Martinez (Chief Marketing Officer, WPlay), Emilia Perez (Marketing Director LATAM, Rush Street Interactive), Andrea Rossi (Commercial Director, Betsson Group), and Pablo Viana Ruiz de Aguirre (Head of Latam, RETAbet).

The Latin America Sports Betting and Casino track forms part of a broader programme at SBC Summit Americas, alongside sessions focused on payments and technology, regulation and compliance, leadership and player protection.
