SBC has entered into a strategic partnership with the Brazilian Institute for Responsible Gaming (IBJR) ahead of SBC Summit Rio 2026, aligning the event with one of the key organisations shaping responsible gaming standards in Brazil.
The summit will be held from March 3–5 at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, bringing together thousands of delegates, including operators, suppliers and regulators, to discuss the development of Brazil’s newly regulated iGaming and sports betting market.
Founded in 2023 following Brazil’s move to establish a regulated betting framework, IBJR represents several leading domestic and international betting companies. The organisation focuses on promoting a fair, sustainable and responsible ecosystem, with priorities including combating illegal gambling and strengthening player protection standards.
Its members include major industry brands such as bet365, BetMGM, Betsson Group, Entain (Sportingbet), Flutter Brazil (Betnacional and Betfair), Kaizen Gaming (Betano) and KTO, among others.
Andre Gelfi, Director, Board Member and Co-Founder of IBJR, marked the agreement as an important step for the regulated market.

In addition to operators, the exhibition floor will include companies focused on responsible gaming, compliance and player protection, positioning the summit as a platform to support the development of a sustainable, regulated betting ecosystem in Brazil.
