iGaming software supplier SOFTSWISS has won a Global Tech Award 2026 in the Cyber Security Technology category, with the accolade recognising Pipeguard, a custom-built security platform embedded directly into the software development process.

Pipeguard was developed to address a common issue in software delivery, where standard security tools can produce large volumes of low-value alerts that slow engineering teams.

Pipeguard automates scans across multiple product lines, allowing more than 90% of critical issues to be resolved within agreed timeframes. The platform handles more than 2,000 daily scans across over 200 production repositories.

Risk ranking system cuts irrelevant alerts

Pipeguard is built into the software development process and is designed to identify and block unsafe code, vulnerable software components, exposed credentials, and infrastructure and configuration issues before release.

One of Pipeguard’s central features is its Risk Context Score, a proprietary method that ranks findings based on actual business risk. This reduced irrelevant security alerts by 95%, allowing engineers to focus on higher-risk issues. New projects can usually be connected to the platform within a few hours.

Platform supports compliance in regulated markets

Pipeguard supports a technology ecosystem used by more than 1,400 iGaming brands across regulated markets.

The platform also helps SOFTSWISS meet compliance requirements and regulatory audits in jurisdictions including Brazil, South Africa, Estonia, and Mexico, among others.

“In iGaming, where release speed is high, and trust is critical, security controls have to work inside delivery, not next to it,” said Evgeny Zaretskov, Group Chief Security Officer at SOFTSWISS. “Pipeguard helps stop exploitable weaknesses from reaching production across the SOFTSWISS product ecosystem. This award is a recognition of our contribution to global technology standards in cybersecurity.”
