Caesars Entertainment has opened a new in-person Caesars Sportsbook at Northfield Park Racino near Cleveland, expanding its retail betting footprint in Ohio through a partnership with Clairvest Group Inc.
The move follows MGM Resorts’ sale of the casino’s operations to Clairvest earlier this month, paving the way for a refreshed brand identity at the property, which now includes the new sportsbook space.
The launch strengthens Caesars’ presence in the state and complements its mobile sportsbook offering. The company is also an official sports betting partner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The new venue features a large LED video wall, five staffed betting windows, and self-service kiosks that allow customers to place wagers around the clock. Bettors can also link their activity to the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app for deposits, withdrawals, and rewards.
“Northfield Park Racino gives us a strong new venue to connect with Northeast Ohio sports fans in a high-traffic entertainment destination,” said Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital. “Its location just outside Cleveland, a market defined by some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, pairs our industry-leading technology with a lively atmosphere that enhances how fans watch and wager on sports throughout the year.”
The sportsbook is designed to offer a premium in-person viewing and wagering experience, as operators continue to invest in retail locations to complement digital growth.
“We’re excited to partner with Caesars Sportsbook to bring even more energy and excitement to our guest experience,” said Kevin Brady, GM at Northfield Park Racino. “This collaboration is a strong addition to our Overtime Bar and Grill, enhancing the overall sports fan atmosphere and entertainment offering.”
Customers placing bets at the venue or through the mobile app will earn credits through the Caesars Rewards loyalty programme, which can be redeemed for hotel stays, entertainment, and other experiences across the company’s properties.
The Caesars Sportsbook mobile app, launched in 2021, is now available across multiple jurisdictions and includes features such as a universal digital wallet, allowing users to manage funds across markets where the platform operates.
The app also offers a wide range of betting options, including same-game parlays, player proposition bets, futures, and live in-play wagering, as well as livestreaming of sporting events.
