Light & Wonder strengthened its presence in the German market with a high-profile presence at the 4th German Dealer Championship (GDC), reinforcing its commitment to the country’s land-based casino sector.

The gathering, which took place this year from 28-30 April at Spielbank Berlin, has become one of the key meeting points for casino professionals in Germany. Dealers, operators and other industry stakeholders descended on the German capital not only to compete, but also to network and exchange knowledge with peers.

As a key sponsor of the event, Light & Wonder used the fourth edition of the GDC to strengthen its footprint in Germany and Europe, and underline its support for the development of the wider land-based casino sector.

Industry engagement

Over three days, the Light & Wonder sales team held productive discussions with operators and industry professionals, using the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new ones, as well as demonstrate its ongoing support for the dealer community.

Attendees were able to check out the company’s range of table solutions in action, including shufflers and chip management systems like ShuffleStar, ChipMaster S and i-Deal Plus, as well as GM Atlas progressives – widely used in German casinos for several years.

Light & Wonder also took the opportunity to highlight its ongoing development roadmap, with upcoming innovations set to expand its reach across the EMEA region, including future releases related to the company’s expanding progressive product portfolio.

In addition, Light & Wonder participated in the event’s official gala ceremony, which took place at the Grand Hyatt Berlin. A company representative presented one of the evening’s awards, recognising excellence within the dealer community.
