Stake has launched Zoo, a new multiplayer casino title under its Stake Originals portfolio, as the online gambling operator expands its lineup of in-house games.
The title focuses on shared live-round gameplay. Zoo allows players to bet on six animals positioned across a 20-tile circular track, with all users participating in the same live round.
The game is now available globally on the company’s platform. The title joins Stake Originals, the company’s proprietary collection of casino games that includes multiplayer offerings such as Crash.
In Zoo, players have 10 seconds to place bets on one or more animals — Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Crocodile, Rhino and Penguin — before the track spins and three result tiles are selected.
Each animal appears a different number of times on the track, creating varying payout tiers and volatility levels. Lion and Cheetah appear once each, while Elephant and Crocodile appear twice, Rhino four times, and Penguin 10 times.
With three result tiles drawn each round, players win based on how many times their chosen animal lands across all three. The game offers a return-to-player rate of 98% and a maximum multiplier of 1,000x per round. Players can also use automated betting controls to preset wager amounts, number of rounds, and animal selections.
Zoo was designed as a more visual and simplified alternative to traditional casino games such as roulette and Sic Bo while retaining multiplayer functionality.
“Zoo is exactly the kind of game we want Stake Originals to be known for — fast, simple to pick up, and genuinely fun to play in an online setting filled with other players,” Akhil Sarin, chief marketing officer at Stake, said in a statement.
“There’s real tension in watching the three tiles land for the whole table at once, and we think players are going to find their favourite animals pretty quickly,” Sarin added.
The launch forms part of Stake’s strategy to expand its portfolio of easy-to-learn multiplayer casino games differentiated from traditional iGaming products.
