bet365 has entered Alberta’s regulated iGaming market, expanding its Canadian presence beyond Ontario as the online sportsbook and casino operator continues its North American growth strategy.

Customers in Alberta now have access to bet365’s sportsbook and online casino offerings, including live betting, competitive odds, and its Early Payout Offer, where users receive winnings early when their team takes a decisive lead.

As part of the Alberta launch, bet365 is introducing its Sub On Play On promotion, which automatically transfers eligible player-proposition wagers to an in-game substitute if the originally selected player is replaced, allowing the bet to remain active.

The promotion generated about $40 million in payouts globally during the first 10 days of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

bet365 has also announced a partnership with the Canadian Football League (CFL), becoming an Official Sports Betting and Online Casino Partner of the league in Ontario and Alberta.

The agreement will include premium CFL content, broadcast-visible media, digital storytelling and fan engagement initiatives throughout the season.

The partnership also comes ahead of the 113th Grey Cup, Canada’s largest annual single-day sporting event, which is scheduled to be played in Calgary on Nov. 15.

Bet365’s Alberta launch further builds on the momentum of its “Winning is Everything” brand campaign, which highlights the company’s focus on competitive play and responsible gambling. 

The operator offers betting on more than 96 sports, streams more than one million live events each year, and provides responsible gambling tools, including spend and session limits integrated into its mobile application.
