Aristocrat Interactive has launched nearly 40 online casino games in Alberta as the Canadian province transitions to a regulated multi-operator online gaming market, expanding the company’s presence across the country’s gaming sector.

The launch marks Aristocrat Interactive’s entry into Alberta’s newly opened commercial market, which went live on Monday, ending the province’s previous government-run monopoly on online gaming.

The company deployed almost 40 games simultaneously across multiple operator partners on the market’s opening day. Aristocrat Interactive has also been supplying content to the province’s government-operated PlayAlberta.ca platform since July 2024.

“Our Day One presence in Alberta is an exciting milestone and testament to our team’s operational excellence and our commitment to providing our customers with the industry’s best content the moment a market opens,” Elena Jaacks, Vice President of Commercial for the Rest of the World at Aristocrat Interactive, said.

“By launching almost 40 of our most popular titles simultaneously, we are ensuring that our customers and their players have immediate access to the high-quality, regulated gaming experiences they expect,” she added.

The initial portfolio includes popular titles such as Buffalo and Mo Mummy, while Lightning Link is scheduled to launch in Alberta on July 23.

According to the company, the games have been adapted specifically for Alberta’s regulated market with localized content and gameplay designed to meet provincial regulatory requirements.

The expansion adds to Aristocrat Interactive’s Canadian footprint, which includes operations in British Columbia, Atlantic Canada, Ontario and Québec.

Aristocrat Interactive, the real-money gaming division of Aristocrat, provides online gaming content and technology to regulated markets worldwide.
