Downtown Las Vegas’ Golden Nugget has reopened its poker room in a new location near the Chart House restaurant and the Rush Tower lobby. The poker room began welcoming players on July 6, with an official grand opening scheduled for July 28.
The reopening comes during one of the busiest periods for poker in Las Vegas as the World Series of Poker (WSOP) attracts thousands of players and visitors to the city, providing a seasonal boost to poker rooms across the market.
The new poker room offers easier access for players arriving through the property’s self-parking garage and rideshare pickup area. Guests can also receive parking validation.
The relocated venue replaces the property’s previous poker room near the casino floor and high-limit slots area. The former poker room is expected to be converted into a new high-limit slots salon, while the previous high-limit slots space will be repurposed for table games. A temporary high-limit slots area has been established near Bar 46, just off Fremont Street.
The redesigned poker room accommodates up to 63 players and features upgraded tables with built-in mobile device charging stations, new seating, and an improved layout designed for greater player comfort.
According to the property’s website, players can also enjoy enhanced food and beverage service without leaving the table. Guests can order refreshments through in-room beverage service and mobile snack carts while remaining in play.
As Downtown Las Vegas’ only dedicated poker room, Golden Nugget continues to offer live cash games, daily tournaments, player promotions, and its $100,000 Bad Beat Jackpot.
