New York’s Turning Stone Resort Casino has opened The Crescent, a 258-room luxury hotel, and Salt, a fine-dining restaurant, as part of the first phase of its $400 million Turning Stone Evolution project.
The Crescent is the resort’s fourth hotel and offers 258 guest rooms with modern interiors and luxury amenities. The hotel provides direct access to the resort’s spas, restaurants, entertainment venues, golf courses, and gaming facilities.

The hotel also houses The Pantry, a grab-and-go café; Oneida Sky, a retail store featuring products created by members of the Oneida Indian Nation; and Rome Health Convenient Care, an on-site medical centre for guests and employees.
Meanwhile, Salt occupies the seventh floor of The Crescent and offers indoor and outdoor dining with views of the Mohawk Valley. The restaurant includes four private dining rooms for group events.

Developed in partnership with restaurateur Elizabeth Blau, Salt focuses on seafood and premium meat dishes, with menu offerings including fresh East Coast oysters, caviar service, hand-cut steaks, and seafood specialties prepared with ingredients such as the Oneida Indian Nation’s Wáhta Maple Syrup.
“As we prepare to become New York’s largest meetings and conventions resort destination, it was essential that we elevated every aspect of the Turning Stone experience,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and CEO of Turning Stone Enterprises. “The Crescent and Salt reflect our commitment to delivering a level of luxury and hospitality that rivals the finest destinations in the world.”
