The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) has endorsed SiGMA World 2026, the flagship SiGMA summit to be held in Rome, Italy, from 2 to 5 November.
In a letter of support, AGCC Executive Director Andrew Gellatly noted the event’s role as an international meeting point and said the summit will bring together regulators, policymakers, industry leaders and technology providers to discuss regulatory frameworks, responsible gaming, technology, payments and market development.
According to the AGCC, the programme will feature discussions on regulatory frameworks, responsible gaming, technological innovation, international cooperation, and market development. The event is expected to attract thousands of delegates, speakers and exhibitors, providing a platform to exchange knowledge, share best practices and strengthen cross-border partnerships.
“The Alderney Gambling Control Commission supports initiatives to promote transparent, sustainable, and properly regulated sector development,” the letter states. The AGCC added that the summit provides an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between regulators and industry stakeholders and foster long-term engagement.
The endorsement follows the Commission’s support for SiGMA North America 2026, which will be held in Mexico City from 1 to 3 September. In its earlier endorsement, the AGCC also highlighted the importance of regulatory dialogue, responsible gaming, international cooperation, and stronger engagement between public authorities and industry participants.
SiGMA World 2026 will feature a conference, exhibition, and networking programme, including the SiGMA World Awards and SiGMA World Pitch.
The AGCC said the event offers a platform to discuss regulatory priorities alongside commercial developments as the global gaming industry continues to evolve.
