Entain has transitioned its Sports Interaction and PartyCasino brands to Alberta’s regulated iGaming market after both brands received licences from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) on 23 July.
The company said both brands have a long history of operating with standards focused on fairness, security and responsible play. It added that Alberta’s new regulatory framework now reinforces the consistent application of those standards across the market.

Sports Interaction, which has served Canadian sports bettors since 1997, offers sports betting with competitive odds, broad market coverage, fast payouts and Canada-based customer support. The company noted the brand also has local operational teams in Calgary.
Meanwhile, PartyCasino has entered Alberta’s regulated market with more than 3,000 compliant games, live dealer offerings, and slot games. The platform also provides 24/7 customer support, rapid withdrawals, and player protection features.
Alberta opened its regulated commercial iGaming market at midnight on July 13, becoming the second Canadian province after Ontario to permit private online sports betting and casino operators under provincial oversight.
The Alberta framework follows Ontario’s model, with AGLC acting as regulator and the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) conducting and managing the market. Operators must provide responsible gambling information, self-assessment tools and time and deposit limits, and must obtain RG Check accreditation.
