SBC has named five industry figures who will be inducted into its 2026 Hall of Fame, recognising their contributions to the global betting and gaming sector.
The class includes Khalid Ali, CEO of the International Betting Integrity Association; David Natroshvili, founder of Spribe; Jason Robins, co-founder and CEO of DraftKings; Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes, vice president of Latin America, Caribbean & Spain at Gaming Laboratories International; and Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech.
The induction ceremony will take place on Sept. 28 at 15:30 at the Palácio Estoril Hotel in Lisbon during the SBC Leaders Summit, an invite-only gathering for C-level industry executives. The summit will precede the opening of SBC Summit 2026.
The SBC Hall of Fame, which marks its 10th year, was launched in 2016 as the Sports Betting Hall of Fame. This year’s class reflects the breadth of the modern betting and gaming industry, spanning entrepreneurship, technology, integrity, regulation and operator leadership.
“When I look at this year’s five inductees, what strikes me is how much ground they cover between them. Entrepreneurship, technology, integrity, regulation, operator leadership. You don’t often get that in one room,” said Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and founder of SBC.
“Celebrating them in Lisbon isn’t just about five great careers. It’s a chance to recognise how far our industry has come, and the people who got us here,” he said.
The five inductees will join previous Hall of Fame honorees including 2025 inductees Esmeralda Britton, president of Costa Rica’s Junta de Protección Social; Chad Millman, co-founder of The Action Network; Scotty Schettler, former director of Race & Sports at the Stardust; and Shelley White, former CEO of the Responsible Gambling Council.
Other past inductees include 888 Holdings PLC former CEO John Anderson, BetVictor founder Victor Chandler, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Bet365 founder and CEO Denise Coates, Betfred founder Fred Done, Sportradar founder and CEO Carsten Koerl, Betsson AB CEO and founder Pontus Lindwall, and Bwin co-founder Norbert Teufelberger.
The SBC Leaders Summit is expected to bring together more than 500 C-level executives for networking, presentations, panel discussions and regional and regulatory roundtables.
The event will also feature a cocktail reception, gala dinner, poker tournament and after-party at Casino Estoril.
Attendees will have access to SBC Summit and the Affiliate Leaders Summit, which will run from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at FIL and MEO Arena in Lisbon.
