The NFL has renewed its sports betting agreements with DraftKings and FanDuel after adding Fanatics Betting and Gaming to its sportsbook partner group. The three operators now have multiyear agreements with the league ahead of the 2026 season.
DraftKings and FanDuel have been NFL sports betting partners since 2021. Their previous agreements expired after the 2025 season, while Fanatics expanded its existing NFL relationship into sports betting.
The new deals replace the NFL’s previous sportsbook agreements with Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel. Those contracts identified the three operators as the league’s exclusive official sportsbook partners. The new agreements do not include the same exclusivity language, which leaves the NFL able to consider additional sportsbook partnerships.
The NFL has not disclosed why Caesars is no longer part of the group. Reports previously linked delays in the DraftKings and FanDuel renewals to a dispute over the cost of streaming data.
Fanatics changes the sportsbook lineup
Fanatics now joins DraftKings and FanDuel as an official NFL sports betting partner. The agreement expands the company’s existing relationship with the league, which includes collectibles and official merchandise.
Fanatics will also become an official online casino marketing partner. DraftKings will retain its position as the NFL’s official daily fantasy sports partner.
The three operators can use NFL marks for retail and online sports betting. Their agreements also provide access to official play-by-play data, Next Gen Stats and BetVision through Genius Sports.
The partnerships include exposure across NFL digital properties and at major league events, including the Super Bowl and NFL Draft. The operators will also receive hospitality and VIP opportunities.
Data access remains part of the agreements
The new contracts restore DraftKings and FanDuel’s access to NFL data after reports of a disagreement over streaming data costs.
Genius Sports provides the league’s official data services to the three operators. The agreements include real-time official play-by-play statistics, Next Gen Stats and BetVision.
Americans legally wagered an estimated $30 billion on the 2025 NFL season, according to the American Gaming Association. NFL games therefore remain a key source of betting activity for U.S. sportsbooks.
Integrity rules remain in place
The new agreements also place the operators within the NFL’s sports integrity and responsible gambling framework.
DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics have agreed to the league’s core integrity policies. Those rules restrict wagers involving officiating, injuries and outcomes that may be known in advance. They also cover markets that could be manipulated by one person.
Genius Sports monitors betting patterns in real time for potential manipulation. Each NFL club has an integrity representative, usually a former FBI agent or senior law-enforcement official.
Players, coaches, officials and staff must complete annual gambling policy training and acknowledge the policy each year.
“DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics share our vision for innovation and fan engagement, but most importantly, our commitment to protecting the integrity of the game. We look forward to navigating this next chapter in sports betting together,” said NFL EVP and Chief Revenue Officer Renie Anderson
The NFL remarked that it launched a responsible betting campaign in 2021 with the National Council on Problem Gambling. The league has since provided grants of $6.2 million and $6.4 million to the organization.
Prediction markets remain outside the deals
The NFL continues to keep prediction markets separate from its sportsbook partnerships.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said in December that the league was not preparing to enter the category because of unresolved legal challenges.
The NFL also treats prediction-market activity as prohibited sports betting for its personnel. Its gambling policy bars players and league staff from trading football-related contracts on platforms that “mimic sports betting.”
