Fanatics Sports & Casino is expanding its football offering this season with new injury protection, player-betting features and promotions, while positioning its FanCash loyalty programme as a differentiator from rival sportsbooks and prediction markets.
FanCash can be earned on every bet, trade or play, regardless of whether the wager wins or loses, and redeemed through more than 20 options across the Fanatics platform. FanCash is also available on prediction-market trades on Fanatics Sports & Casino.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming launched its Fair Play player injury protection programme in 2024 after identifying injuries as a key frustration for sports bettors. More than half a million bets have been saved by the programme since September 2024, including nearly 200,000 professional football bets last season.
This season, Fair Play will be upgraded to Fair Play Max, offering three levels of protection. First Half Injury Protection will automatically apply to professional football player prop bets at no charge.
A new Forward Progress Protection feature will protect qualifying player-prop over wagers after they cross the over line from negative-yardage plays, including quarterback kneel-downs and rushes for negative yards. According to the company, there were 115 qualifying instances last season in which negative yardage affected an over wager.
Customers will also be able to use a Fair Play Max Gameday Token to secure Second Half Injury Protection on one eligible player-prop wager each day, with the protection provided in FanCash.
Fanatics will also introduce Squad Bets, allowing customers to select two to eight professional football players and set a combined statistical line. The product will offer live tracking and cash-out, while Fair Play Max will also be available for Squad Bets.
The sportsbook is offering a range of football promotions, including a 100% profit boost on NFL game days during Week 1, a new-customer offer of a $20 bet for $350 in FanCash plus up to $1,000 in matched FanCash, and a weekly Triple Touchdown Jackpot offering a share of up to $250,000 in FanCash.
Fanatics has also developed proprietary pricing models for NFL touchdown-scorer props and season futures, allowing it to respond more quickly to injury news and roster changes.
The company will add sports content from figures including Caleb Pressley and Jordan Schultz. A new short-form social series, “Where Are They Now,” co-developed with Pressley, will premiere on Sept. 10.
