Shai Tabibian, Senior Vice-President and Head of B2C at 888 Holdings, has announced his departure from the company after nine years. Tabibian took on the position in August 2021 and had previously held various other roles during his tenure with the company.
Before his role as head of B2C, Tabibian served as Vice President for Growth Marketing and held the position of Online Acquisition Marketing Director. He also had spells as Poker Marketing Director and Head of Poker Affiliate and Regional Marketing at 888.
In a LinkedIn post, he expressed his gratitude for the opportunities he had during his nine-year tenure. “I want to thank the entire 888 family for the laughter, collaboration, and shared moments of triumph (we had many of those),” he said. “It has been an honor to work alongside such talented and dedicated individuals, and I feel incredibly lucky to share this journey with all of you. “
“As I embark on a new adventure, I am filled with gratitude for the memories created and the lifelong connections made,” Tabibian said in his farewell message. During his time with 888 Holdings, the executive made significant contributions to the firm’s growth and success, according to the company.
Before joining the group, he worked as a social and mobile games producer at Win and Head of Oracle at Taldor. He also worked with other organizations including Bezeq Online, ELTA, and Teva Pharmaceuticals.
Tabibian’s departure comes after an announcement in January that Itai Pazner would be leaving his role as 888’s chief executive, amid reports of AML and KYC failures for customers in the Middle East. Currently, non-executive chairman Lord Mendelsohn remains as interim executive chair while the search for a permanent replacement continues.
