BetBlocker, a responsible gaming and safer play not-for-profit charity, is the 8th and final organization selected to deliver a quickfire pitch at the inaugural edition of the Regulating the Game London conference, event organizer Senet confirmed.

Already established in Sydney, the Regulating the Game conference is set to arrive in London on September 25-29. It is described as a 5-day immersive program that focuses on leading-edge research, regulatory policy and practice, and ethical leadership in the gambling sector. 

BetBlocker is a RET charity that provides a free tool to assist individuals with gambling concerns. With the capability to block access to over 85,000 gambling sites and 1,500 gambling apps, it is “a trusted ally for thousands aiming to manage their gambling habits,” Senet explained.

Relying on a frequently updated database of gambling-related web addresses, BetBlocker ensures user privacy, requiring no personal data transmission or external storage. 

All eight Pitch! spots have now been filled. In addition to BetBlocker, the lineup of organizations for the event includes Rob Mabbett Engagement Director at Better Change, Devon Dalbock, Chief Operating Officer of GLI, Earle G. Hall, CEO and Founder of AXES.aiMaris Catania, Safer Gambling Consultant, SGCertifiedTony Walker, Head of Financial Services & Gambling at ArmalytixRobin Paine and Laura Bedborough of ClientScan; and Shelley Langan-Newton, CEO of the tech company SQR Group Limited

Newson is a former President and Patron of the International Association of Gaming Regulators and a former Trustee of the NSW Responsible Gambling Fund.  He was responsible for public policy and regulation of liquor, gambling, and racing in NSW as Deputy Secretary in the NSW Department of Industry until mid-2019.
