Endorphina Limited, a Prague-based supplier of online slot games, has been granted a Gaming-Related Vendor Licence (Tier II) by the United Arab Emirates’ General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA).
The GCGRA, a federal authority with exclusive jurisdiction over licensing, supervising, and regulating all commercial gaming activities in the UAE, issued the licence on Thursday.
Under this regulatory framework, Endorphina is permitted to offer gaming-related products and services across the Emirates, functioning within the GCGRA’s compliance and oversight structure.
A gaming related vendor licence is an entity licence for ‘suppliers of gaming equipment or related goods and services’.
Endorphina views the licence as an enhancement of its global footprint. “Over the past years, Endorphina has grown into a truly reputable, internationally recognized supplier, following a principle of gradual and sustainable development,” said Džangar Jesenov, Endorphina’s head of compliance.
‘Among the top providers worldwide’
Jesenov described the licence as both “an honour and a responsibility”. She emphasised the company’s status as one of the top global providers by the number of jurisdictions in which it is authorised to operate.
“Today, in terms of the number of jurisdictions where we are authorised to operate, we are proud to be ranked among the Тop providers worldwide.”
Jesenov also expressed enthusiasm about contributing to “shaping a sustainable and innovative industry under the guidance of the GCGRA.”
The licensed gaming market in the UAE is anticipated to attract both well-established European suppliers and regional operators. On the land-based side, Wynn Resorts is developing its $5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island project in Ras Al Khaimah, which is expected to become the UAE’s first regulated casino resort.
However, recent reports have suggested that regional tensions linked to the Iran conflict could affect construction timelines and tourism flows tied to the wider Gulf gaming market. Construction briefly paused in February but was picked back up in March.
