n light of this year’s changes in our everyday lives, SiGMA was close to having to stop creating networks for people through the company’s iconic physical events, but luckily, the team was able to adapt to the situation and instead shift the events online.

Throughout the year, SiGMA hosted a number of digital and virtual summits with the latest, SiGMA Europe, topping them all with a record of 6,500 delegates, 4,500 total active people with 1,485 maximum concurrent viewers, making it the biggest virtual expo of the year, with CEO and founder Eman Pulis commenting saying how the conference was ‘full of content, full of great speakers, top of the line exhibitors, and great networking.”

The summit also featured a careers fair which continues to nurture the development and growth of the gaming industry by fostering the acquisition of a wider talent pool and cultivating technical skills, and of course, the virtual expo, which featured 110 exhibitors in a beautifully designed simulation of exhibits through which one could walk virtually walkthrough and a networking lounge to recreate that final social touch that is at the core of SiGMA’s events, and which we’re happy to announce worked and connected a lot of people.

The various topics of conversation fell under the following categories such as Regulation, Affiliation & Marketing, Sportsbook, Suppliers, Market Trends, Data in Payments, and Edge of Technology for Games for SiGMA; and for AIBC, Regulation & Compliance and FinTech and AI. SiGMA presented some very intriguing discussions on relevant topics.

On top of this, there was a list of amazing speakers who divulged their expertise on SiGMA’s platform, educating and connecting people further and further, some notable names of which being; Akon, who needs no introduction, Minister for Tourism in Malta Hon. Clayton Bartolo, Singular CCO Rob Dowling, EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes, Gaming Malta COO Ivan Filletti, Tech.mt CEO Dana Farrugia, Altenar COO Dinos Stramnomitis, and Betby CCO Chris NIkolopoulos.

SiGMA will launch its next series of events in 2021, with SiGMA Europe headlining next year’s calendar. Inaugural summits in Asia and Americas are also set to dominate the year, with SiGMA Asia and SiGMA Americas launching in May 2021 and SiGMA Africa in 2022!
