AGS’ Orion slot products debut in Canada with AGLC

anada’s Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) is implementing the new Starwall x Orion slot merchandising attraction by AGS, and its Orion Curve slot cabinet. This makes Alberta the first province in Canada to launch these products across multiple casinos. 

The Starwall x Orion is currently live in seven Alberta casinos, including Cash Casino Calgary, Century Casino & Hotel, Edmonton, Deerfoot Inn & Casino, Grey Eagle Resort & Casino, Pure Casino Calgary, Pure Casino Edmonton, and River Cree Resort & Casino. 

Its video display, the merchandising package for AGS’ Orion Portrait games, launched with Jade Wins Deluxe and Golden Wins Deluxe, are the first games in AGS’ new 88 Tian Lun series, which are upgraded versions of the company’s classics. 

These feature a bonus wheel, multi-level progressives, multipliers, respins and a coin-grab bonus feature.

The Orion Curve slot platform features a 4K LCD Ultra HD 49-inch curved portrait monitor, and includes games such as Sacred Dragon and Royal Phoenix. It has debuted in six casinos in Alberta, which are: Century Mile Racetrack and Casino, Cowboys Casino, Deerfoot Inn & Casino, Pure Casino Calgary, Pure Casino Yellowhead, and River Cree Resort & Casino. 

AGS Senior Vice President of Sales, Adam Whitehurst, spoke about the expansion of the products to Canada.
