eoVegas Group has been granted renewed licences by the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden. The renewed five-year licences will enable LeoVegas to continue offering online casino and sports betting in Denmark until 2026.

Since being granted its first Danish licence in 2016, the group has grown to be one of the largest operators in the Danish market with its LeoVegas brand. Denmark reformed its online gambling laws in 2018.

Gustaf Hagman, Group CEO at LeoVegas Group, said: “Our Danish launch was one of our most successful, and the fact that we are now one of the largest operators in this market is testament to that. I am thrilled that LeoVegas can continue to offer our customers in Denmark the greatest gaming experience, as a responsible and sustainable operator.”

LeoVegas said its strategy is to grow in locally regulated markets and soon to be regulated markets. LeoVegas also holds licences in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Ireland, and Malta.
