irca Sports mobile betting app is launching in Iowa with Wild Rose Casinos & Resort, announced the company on Thursday. By having secured this agreement, the Las Vegas sports betting venture makes its Midwest debut through Circa Sports Iowa.

Sports bettors from anywhere in the state can register, fund and bet on sporting events through the now-live app, which can be downloaded at Circa Sports’ webpage.

“We are thrilled to expand Circa Sports to Iowa and the Midwest,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports. “Iowa marks the third state of operation for our mobile app, and we’ve appreciated the collaboration with Wild Rose and Iowa Racing & Gaming Commission on bringing this launch to fruition.”

The app allows users in the state to browse a completed odds menu and live odds at any time and anywhere within Iowa. It boasts “the highest limits, lowest hold percentages and best customer service of any offering in the state,” according to a press release.

Moreover, the app’s service also includes future bets in parlays and two-sided yes/no future betting. Funds can be transferred via ACH, wire transfer and through Sightline.

Circa Sports, first launched in 2019, now houses five locations in Southern Nevada, including the world’s largest sportsbook inside of Circa Resort & Casino, which can accommodate more than 1,000 people in a three-floor casino sportsbook and restaurant/bar. Additionally, it launched in Colorado in 2020 with the Circa Sports Colorado mobile app.

The company is helmed by casino owner and downtown Las Vegas developer Derek Stevens, and aims at “blazing a new trail in the gaming industry” by combining a customer-first approach to business with some of the country’s top oddsmakers.

Following Circa Sports’ debut, sportsbooks in Iowa now total 16, including industry giants DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM. Iowa reported a betting handle of $108.4 million in August, the first month-over-month gain in betting volume since March.

Iowa’s Wild Rose casino opened DraftKings sportsbooks in the firm’s properties in Jefferson, Emmetsburg, and Clinton in 2019.
