2 Tribes Colville Casinos announced Wednesday new names for their properties in Omak and Manson. 12 Tribes Omak Casino Hotel, formerly known as 12 Tribes Resort Casino; and 12 Tribes Lake Chelan Casino, formerly known as 12 Tribes Mill Bay Casino, will now be rebranded based on their locations.

Kary Nichols, Colville Tribal Federal Corporation Chief Executive Officer commented on this renaming and said: “It was important for us to incorporate the location into each property’s name for consistency and tourism purposes”.

The new name changes come as one of the final stages in the year-long refresh project, which included updating the tribe’s Players Advantage Club artwork and benefits for their players, as well as interior and exterior building designs and a new RV park at 12 Tribes Lake Chelan Casino.

“It is important that we continuously look for ways to improve, and we had some very exciting changes that happened to encourage tourism to our area and support the loyalty of our locals”, said Colville Gaming LLC Interim COO, Tony Posey. “We will only continue to evaluate our community’s needs to encourage growth.”

The rebranding comes after the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation on September 10 received final approval to begin offering sports betting at its casinos. This endorsement came from the Federal Department of Interior, which reviewed and approved the sports betting amendment to the Tribes’ gaming compact. The amendment applies to the Tribes’ three casinos in Omak, Lake Chelan, and Coulee Dam, as well as any future venues operated by the Tribes. The Colville Tribal Federal Corporation is still finalizing the details of its sports betting operations, but this amendment will allow sports betting to begin as soon as practicable.
